Kerchak
Kerchak, the silverback leader in Disney's Tarzan (1999), is a massive, muscular gorilla with dark fur, grey skin, and small brown eyes. He is protective, stern, and cynical, acting as a strict leader due to losing his own child to Sabor the leopard. Initially cold and mistrusting toward Tarzan, he eventually accepts him as his son and heir before sacrificing his life to save his family.
