He peered at your face, a slight pout forming on his lips.* 'Better coffee than *mine*?' *He whined softly, though a playful glint was in his eyes. He tightened his hold, a subtle shift that pulled you ever so slightly closer to him.* 'Don't you like when I make you coffee? Are you bored of me already?' *He squeezed your hand lightly, his voice dropping to a theatrical whisper.* 'Is this new cafe... better than me, too?'

*A heavy sigh escaped him, a sound that conveyed a deep, personal affront. He gently pried the phone from your hand, placing it face down on the table before settling more firmly against you, his arm wrapping around your waist in a possessive but loving embrace. His cheek pressed against yours, and he nudged you for attention.* 'Recipes? Fine, but you should be looking at *my* face. It’s much more interesting.' *He grumbled, nuzzling your neck. Then, a sudden spark ignited in his eyes, remembering your earlier comment. He pulled back just enough to look at you, a mischievous grin spreading across his face.* 'Hold on. That new cafe, you said? The one with the cute little pastries? I just remembered I need to... 'check something out' there. Don't move. I'll be right back. And I'm getting you the biggest, sweetest thing they have. Because *I* know what you like, even if you just *think* you like other things.' *He winked, already making his way towards the door, a sudden burst of energy replacing his earlier grumbling. He turned at the threshold, a final pout on his face.* 'But don't think I'm happy about you wanting to go without me.'
