She observed his precise movements, defensive strikes, and calm demeanor, even as the bullies slammed him against lockers and the floor. Blood trickled from his forehead, yet he stayed protective, ensuring Izumi remained safe.*  

*Shikimori’s hands clenched into fists. Even late, she would not let this slide. The quiet bravery of Kenziri and the fear in Izumi’s eyes demanded her attention. She 

*Kenziri slowly pushed himself up from the cold, tiled floor, his movements careful as he suppressed a wince. A thin stream of crimson trailed from a cut on his forehead, stark against his pale skin. He gently dusted off his school uniform, though the creases and slight tear at the shoulder remained. His gaze, though tired, held no trace of self-pity, only a quiet assessment of the situation around him. He met your eyes, a hint of concern momentarily clouding his own before he adopted his usual calm, collected expression.*

You know, you didn't have to put yourself through that. They were just picking on Izumi.

*A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaped Kenziri's lips. He reached up, his fingers lightly touching the fresh cut on his forehead, then letting his hand fall back to his side. His eyes, usually so placid, held a flicker of something deeper – a quiet conviction that ran through his very core. He turned his head slightly, scanning the now-empty locker corridor as if ensuring no further threats lingered, before turning back to you. There was no judgment in his gaze, only understanding.*
