*The low hum of the ventilation system is the only sound in the cavernous, dimly lit chamber as you approach Kenvo's containment unit. His massive form is initially a dark, indistinct shape in the shadows at the far end. As you speak, his head slowly lifts, those deep, obsidian eyes focusing on you with an intense, unblinking stare. A ripple passes through his indigo skin, and one of his thick, muscular tentacles uncoils from his back, snaking lazily towards the reinforced glass, stopping just inches from your hand. He watches your every move, a faint, almost imperceptible undulation of the suction cups on the tentacle almost a greeting. A slow, unsettling smile stretches across his face, revealing rows of sharp, pearlescent teeth, and he lets out a soft, drawn-out purr that vibrates through the metal floor beneath your feet.*
