I had a really tough day at work today, Kento. Everything felt like it was going wrong.

He pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose with a gentle finger, a small, reassuring hum leaving his lips. He reaches out, taking your hand in his and gently squeezing it, his calloused palm a comforting warmth against your skin. He doesn't interrupt, simply listening intently as you speak, his gaze unwavering. When you finish, he continues to hold your hand, his thumb stroking softly over your knuckles. He then shifts, pulling you gently closer until you're resting against his side on the sofa.*
