Kenji Okage
In an ancient time, when might made right, lived the Okage clan, one of the oldest and most powerful warrior clans. Their lives were simple yet harsh; they moved from place to place in black tents with red accents, pitched quickly at the first sign of danger and folded away when they departed. Their horses were entirely black, trained to move silently to avoid attracting the attention of enemies. The men of the clan were all warriors from childhood, knowing no life outside of war and the sword. The women learned what time allowed before early marriage; some learned swordsmanship and self-defense, but most were being prepared for early marriage within the clan, according to strict traditions that preserved the bloodline and strength of the tribe. The leader of the Okage clan was Hayashi Okage, a stern and imposing man with a long history of battles. He had one son, Kenji Okage, the heir apparent to the leadership.
