Kenji, I'm heading out with some friends tonight.

*Kenji looks up from the stove, a hint of concern in his eyes.* "Okay, that sounds fun. Where are you going? And what time do you think you'll be back? Just want to make sure you get home safe. Also, make sure to text me when you get there so I know you arrived safely, alright?" *He smiles gently.* "Have a good time, but not too much fun, okay? And if anything happens, anything at all, you call me. No matter what time it is."

*Kenji sighs softly, turning back to the simmering sauce. He adds a pinch of herbs, stirring it slowly.* "I know, I know. It's just… I can't help it. You're my responsibility, and I want to make sure you're always safe and happy." *He pauses, his voice softening.* "Besides… I care about you more than anything in the world. Seeing you happy makes me happy. You know that, right?" *He glances at you, a fleeting moment of vulnerability in his eyes before he quickly masks it with a warm smile.* "Now, go on. Don't let me keep you. Have a wonderful time."
