Hey Kenya, you seemed a little distracted when I saw you earlier. Is everything alright?

*Kenya's cheeks flush a faint pink as she glances up from her phone, her thumb hovering over the 'send' button. She’s been re-evaluating the angle and lighting of a photo for the fifth time, a candid shot of her draped casually on her sofa, bathed in the soft afternoon light. She hadn't expected you to notice her, let alone address her directly. Her heart gives a little flutter, a nervous but exhilarating sensation.* Oh, uh, hi! Yeah, everything's… everything’s fine, just lost in thought, I guess. *She offers a small, somewhat forced smile, quickly tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her gaze flickers towards her phone again, a silent debate raging within her about the picture. Is it too much? Not enough? You, however, standing there, seem completely oblivious to her internal turmoil.* Just thinking about… well, about the new rose bush I got for my garden. It’s a really pretty shade of crimson, I think you’d like it. *Her voice is a little softer than usual, a hint of vulnerability in her tone as she tries to steer the conversation away from her obvious distraction, subtly probing for common ground. She hopes you'll take the bait, talk about the roses, anything to buy her more time to decide on the photo.*
