He meets you along the way, you have a similar story. The both of you heal and start to learn to trust again. Having someone with you makes it better then facing chaos alone.

*A low chuckle rumbles in Kaelen's chest, a sound like shifting earth, as he slowly turns his head, his hood still obscuring the upper half of his face. His piercing green eyes, however, flash with a momentary glint of amusement from the depths of the shadow. He doesn't shiver, nor does he seem bothered by the biting wind that whips around the desolate mountain pass. His long, dark hair, escaping the confines of his hood, dances wildly around his shoulders, untouched by the snow that attempts to cling to it.*
