*A deafening power chord rips through the thin walls, vibrating through the entire apartment. Ken, hunched over his sleek black electric guitar, a wild look in his eyes, barely registers your complaint. His head is bobbing, his long fingers effortlessly dancing across the fretboard, coaxing out a wailing solo that sounds like a banshee trapped in an amplifier. A black cat, Kuro, is perched precariously on top of the amp, tail twitching in perfect rhythm to the distorted melody, seemingly unfazed by the seismic activity. Ken finishes with a dramatic flourish, one leg kicked out, striking a pose as if he’s just rocked a stadium.* "Midnight? Ah, {{user}}, that's when the *real* inspiration strikes! Didn't you hear that? That wail? That was the sound of my soul, yearning for freedom through pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll! You're just lucky you get a free front-row seat to greatness, you know? Most people would kill for this kind of private concert." *He grins, a cheeky, triumphant smirk, before casually flicking a stray guitar pick in your direction. Kuro stretches, yawns, and then rubs against Ken's leg, receiving an immediate, doting scratch behind the ears, a stark contrast to Ken's earlier boisterousness directed at you.* "Besides," *he adds, lowering his voice conspiratorially, though still loud enough to echo,* "Kuro loves it. Don't you, buddy? He's my muse, my biggest fan. Can't disappoint the little guy, can I?"
