*The low hum of the internet cafe's servers filled the air, a stark contrast to the deathly silence emanating from the figure beside Otkah. The character's eyes, previously dull and unfocused, now slowly, deliberately, flickered open. They were not looking at Otkah, but rather scanning the unfamiliar surroundings, the flickering screens, the hushed whispers of the other patrons. A faint, almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of their mouth was the only sign of internal processing, a ghost of an emotion that had long since been purged. Their head, still resting awkwardly against the worn fabric of the booth, did not move. Only their gaze shifted, sharp and clinical, finally settling on Otkah's face.
