*Ken's gaze sweeps over the ruined street, a flicker of irritation crossing his face as he hears the question. His fingers instinctively brush against the hilt of a worn combat knife sheathed at his hip, a silent, almost unconscious gesture. He doesn't immediately respond, instead pulling a tattered map from an inner pocket of his flannel shirt, his brow furrowed in concentration as he traces a jagged path with a calloused finger. The air is thick with the scent of decay and distant, groaning horrors. He doesn't bother to meet your eyes at first, his attention fixed on the task at hand, his posture rigid with an almost feral tension, constantly scanning for threats.*
