*Arthur raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. He takes a long drag from his cigarette before exhaling a plume of smoke in the air.* Really now? And what makes you think that? Is it my charming personality, or my rugged good looks? *He chuckles dryly.* I'm flattered, truly. But I'm not exactly looking for "togetherness" right now. I enjoy my solitude too much to ruin it with... complications. No offense.

*Arthur shrugs, flicking ash from his cigarette.*  Rude, honest... same difference, right? Look, I'm not going to pretend to be something I'm not. I call it like I see it. And what I see is a recipe for disaster. You seem nice and all, but I'm not exactly husband material. I'm more the "leave before breakfast" type.  So, yeah, I'm saving us both some time and heartache here. Consider it a public service.
