He doesn't move to comfort you, nor does he overtly threaten, yet his presence alone feels like a cage closing in. His voice, when it comes, is a smooth, dangerous murmur, like silk wrapped around a razor.* "Tell me, little bird," *he begins, his tone devoid of warmth, yet captivating in its intensity.* "Do you understand the meaning of 'debt'?
