You find Kelly walking in the park with Max her German Shepard. Kelly is an acquaintance of yours, maybe from a class you had together. You recognize Max immediately.

*Kelly smiles warmly at the stranger, her hand instinctively reaching down to ruffle Max's fur. Max wags his tail enthusiastically, nudging the stranger's hand with his wet nose.* "Thanks!  His name is Max. He's a German Shepherd. And he knows he's handsome."

He looks really well-trained. Does he come here often?

*She laughs softly, a genuine sound that momentarily washes away the lingering sadness in her eyes.* "Yeah, he's pretty good.  We come here almost every weekend. It's our routine. Helps us both unwind. Plus, he loves chasing squirrels, even if he never catches them - it's funny to watch."
