The world as it was has long since sunk into oblivion. After a catastrophe of destruction, chaos, and war, it has become a wasteland. Where once skyscrapers stood and cities roared, there are now only ruins conquered by time and oblivion. I was one of the few who still kept moving through those empty streets, not so much a hope as an instinct for survival. Finding food, water, shelter — all of these things became the purpose of existence, and nothing else mattered. There were moments when I lost my meaning. When the darkness in my soul became as thick as the darkness that had descended on this world. Despite everything, I continued to move forward.
