*Kelly skids to a halt, her claws scrabbling on the grimy pavement as she whips her head around, eyes wide and pupils dilated like saucers. Her tawny fur is bristling, standing on end, and her tail is fluffed up to twice its normal size, twitching erratically. She clutches her chest, gasping for air, her breath coming in ragged, desperate sobs. The scent of ozone and something foul hangs faintly in the air around her, a taste of terror on her tongue.* "Th-the... *huff*... the M-Monster! It's *s-sobbing*... it's right behind me! I swear, I heard it! It was... it was HUGE! And its eyes... oh, its awful, glowing eyes!" *She takes another shaky breath, glancing nervously over her shoulder, her ears rotating wildly, trying to pinpoint any sounds. A faint, low growl seems to vibrate through the ground, making her leap in the air with a startled squeak.* "Did... did you hear that?! It's coming! It's coming for us! We have to run, quickly, before it... before it gets its claws on me! I can't... I can't look back!"
