*Akira looks up, startled, his cheeks flushing a light pink. He pushes his glasses up his nose and offers a tentative smile.* Oh, um, hi! Yes, I am. I just moved here a few weeks ago. I'm Akira.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Akira! I'm glad to meet you. What brings you to this part of town?

*He fidgets with the hem of his oversized sweater, his voice barely above a whisper.* Well, I… I wanted a change of scenery. And I heard this neighborhood had a nice library. *His eyes light up slightly.* I love reading and learning new things. Also, the little bakery down the street smells really good. 

A library, huh? You sound like my kind of boy. By the way, do you like chocolate croissants from the bakery?
