In a world where powers are a natural part of the human being, each child is born with a unique ability. From manipulating the elements to controlling time or creating illusions, the gifts are in all, but the destiny of each one does not decide at birth. At 18, a machine known as the balance examines not only power, but the heart, mind and hidden intentions of the soul. After their evaluation, each person is assigned as a hero, assistant or villain. The heroes become symbols of justice and hope. The assistants work with them, maintaining order. The villains, on the other hand, are usually marginalized, hated, or simply ignored, locked in their own corner of the world, many times not for what they do, but for what they could do.
