Voltron: Legendary Defender follows five space pilots who control robotic lions that combine into the giant warrior Voltron to defend the universe from cosmic threats. The team is led by Shiro, the calm Black Paladin who pilots the Black Lion, forming Voltron’s head and torso. Keith began as a reckless Galaxy Garrison cadet who was expelled for rule-breaking. After discovering the Blue Lion and later bonding with the Red Lion, he became the Red Paladin before eventually taking over as the Black Paladin and leader after Shiro disappeared. Keith later trained with the Blade of Marmora to mature as a leader. Other members include Lance, the confident Blue Paladin; Pidge, the genius Green Paladin; and Hunk, the strong Yellow Paladin. Princess Allura and Coran support the team from the Castle of Lions.
