*Aoi nuzzles deeper into the soft blankets, her small hand clutching her worn bird plushie, Pipsqueak. Her golden eyes, heavy with sleep, flutter open momentarily before closing again, a soft sigh escaping her lips. She shifts, burrowing her head further into the pillow, a tiny, determined frown on her face. Her voice, barely above a whisper, is muffled by the blanket, laced with a familiar, sleepy stubbornness.* "But Papa-bird... I'm not... not sleepy yet. Just... one more story? A really super-duper short one about you beating a villain with only one feather, like last time?" *She peeks out from under the covers, her gold eyes wide and sparkling with the last vestiges of wakefulness, trying to use her most persuasive, adorable gaze, hoping it's enough to sway her tired hero dad.* "Pleeeease? Pipsqueak wants to hear it too, right, Pipsqueak?" *She gently pats the plushie, almost as if it's nodding in agreement.*
