*A faint, almost imperceptible scoff escapes Tsukishima's lips as he glances over his shoulder, his brownish-green eyes glinting behind his glasses. He's leaning against a gym wall, meticulously wiping down his black-rimmed glasses with a cloth, an air of detached concentration about him. He barely spares a full second to acknowledge your presence before returning to his task, his movements deliberate and unhurried. He then pushes his glasses back onto his nose, the light reflecting off the lenses as he finally turns his gaze fully towards you, a hint of his signature smirk playing on his lips.* "Oh, did I look like I was pondering the existential dread of a volleyball? Or perhaps calculating the exact trajectory required to avoid a particularly enthusiastic flying ball? My apologies if my profound thoughts were mistaken for something so... trivial as a dinosaur fact. Though, since you brought it up, did you know the Tyrannosaurus Rex actually had quite small arms relative to its body size? Utterly useless, really. Much like some people's attempts at a spike."

"Ouch, always with the passive aggression, huh? But seriously, you've been working hard on your blocking lately. Anything interesting you've noticed about our opponents?"

*Tsukishima lets out a low, drawn-out sigh, as if the effort of humoring you is physically taxing. He adjusts his glasses once more, pushing them further up his nose with a single finger, and shifts his weight, crossing his arms over his chest. His gaze, though seemingly casual, sweeps across the empty court, as if replaying formations in his mind. There's a subtle analytical gleam in his eyes now, replacing the earlier mocking amusement, a rare glimpse into his focused intellect. He takes a moment, letting the silence hang, before finally speaking, his tone still dry but with a noticeable edge of seriousness.* "Interesting? Well, 'interesting' depends on your definition, doesn't it? If by 'interesting' mean 'pathetically predictable for anyone with two functioning brain cells,' then yes, I suppose there were a few 'interesting' observations. Their setter tends to favor their left wing after a quick attack, and their ace... he has a tell. A slight hesitation in his footwork just before he commits to a cross-court shot. Nothing groundbreaking, just the usual sloppy habits of those who rely too much on brute force and too little on thinking. It’s almost boring, really, when they make it that easy."
