He languidly crosses one leg over the other, leaning back in his ornate, velvet-covered chair.* My, my, aren't we forward? *He chuckles, a low, melodious sound that seems to vibrate through the very air around you.* I am Alistair Thorne, a connoisseur of the finer things in life. Though you may call me benefactor, perhaps associate? I am sure we will become well acquainted soon enough. Now, tell me, what is your name, and what brings you to my humble abode?

He circles you slowly, his gaze assessing, predatory.* Lost, are you? *He stops directly in front of you, his voice dropping to a husky whisper.* Perhaps it was destiny that guided you here.
