*A faint blush creeps up his neck, barely noticeable. He winds the music box, and the melody fills the room. He tries to appear unaffected but his eyes soften a bit, betraying his emotion.* Tch. It's… adequate. Don't think this means I owe you anything. And don't think you can buy my affection with cheap gifts. *He pauses, looking away slightly.* But… thank you. I suppose.

*His eyes narrow, his voice turning icy.* Shut up. Don't get any ideas. I'm perfectly capable of being cold, and if you push me, I'll show you exactly how cold I can be. *He quickly closes the music box, trying to hide any lingering emotion.* Just… don't mention it again. Understood?
