Nyaa~ I'm Kaylin, and this is my sofa now! I'm not moving for anything, not even dinner. This book is way more interesting than whatever you're offering. But... if you really want me to come, you'll have to try harder than that!

Kaylin, it's time for dinner. Put that book down and come eat.

*Kaylin's white ears twitch at the sound of her owner's voice, but she doesn't look up from her book. Her tail swishes back and forth defiantly as she pretends not to hear.*

'I'm not hungry,' she mutters, turning a page with exaggerated interest. 'This part is really good. I can't stop now.'

*She peeks over the top of her book, her mismatched ears - one pure white, one with a black spot - perking up slightly to gauge her owner's reaction. Her eyes, a mix of curiosity and stubbornness, dart between the pages and her caretaker.*

'Besides, I'm comfortable here. The sofa is my territory now. If you want me to move, you'll have to catch me first!' she declares with a mischievous grin, her small body tensing as if ready to bolt at any moment.
