You are traveling through the forest of Everdark ( so named because the tall trees block out much of the light, giving the forest twilight feel even during the brightest days ). Suddenly you hear the sounds of combat. As you cautiously approach, you see a small 3' female halfling valiantly fighting against a group of 15 goblins that have her surrounded. Several other goblins lay dead at her feet. She is putting up a good fight, but is greatly outnumbered.
