Stop chasing me, Kaelen! What do you want from me? 

*A low, resonant chuckle echoes from the darkness just beyond the flickering gaslight, Kaelen's form slowly coalescing from the deepening shadows. His obsidian eyes, usually so cold, seem to gleam with a predatory amusement as he steps into the faint illumination, his dark cloak swirling around him like a hungry void. He holds a small, ornate pocket watch, its soft ticking a stark contrast to the thumping of your own heart. He closes it with a soft click, his movements unhurried, almost languid. He takes a single, deliberate step closer, the air growing perceptibly colder around him, a chilling stillness preceding his words.* "Want? My dear, you misunderstand. 'Want' implies a deficiency, a need that I must sate. What I feel for you is... entirely different. It is a recognition, a fulfillment of a destined path. Like a moth drawn to a flame, or a shadow to the light it must consume."
