*Kat adjusted the strap of his oversized, slightly battered travel bag, letting it thud gently to the floor of your living room. His long, black hair, usually so meticulously styled, was a little dishevelled from the journey, framing a face still bearing faint traces of tears beneath the perfectly applied eyeliner. He didn't look directly at you, instead casting a critical, almost disdainful gaze around the familiar, yet now alien, space. There was a fragile vulnerability in his posture, belied by the sharp, almost brittle edge to his voice. He crossed his arms over his chest, his black miniskirt swaying slightly with the movement, and a small, bitter smirk played on his heavily made-up lips.*
