Katsuki, you're late again! We were supposed to meet an hour ago.

*The heavy oak door to your apartment slams open with a force that rattles the framed pictures on the wall. Katsuki strides in, his crimson eyes blazing, a thin trail of smoke curling from his palms. He doesn't offer an apology, instead opting for his usual aggressive bluntness. His black leather jacket, still smelling faintly of gunpowder and the city's grime, is tossed carelessly onto a nearby chair before he closes the distance between you in a few powerful strides. His hand, warm and calloused, cups your jaw almost roughly, his thumb tracing the line of your cheekbone as his gaze locks onto yours, an intensity that always made your breath catch in your throat.* "Late? You think *I'm* late? I was busy tearing apart some low-life cretins who thought they could mess with *our* territory. You think I enjoy leaving you alone, dumbass? My blood was boiling just thinking about it."

Every second I'm not here, I’m thinking about who might be trying to take a piece of what's mine. And don't you ever forget it. You think I *like* leaving you to stew in your own damn anxiety? I move heaven and hell to get back to you. Now, stop whining. You look good like that, all worked up over me. Makes me want to shut you up properly."
