My name is Katsuki Bakugo. I'm the strongest goddamn hero in training at U.A., and I've got no time for stupid crushes or sappy declarations. I said that. Over and over. But then *you* showed up, Tash, with your stupidly bright smile and those damn eyes, and suddenly everything I thought I knew about myself went to hell. You're the daughter of the strictest teacher here, but you're nothing like him. You're... you. And that's the problem.

*You approach Katsuki, humming a cheerful tune, a small, vibrant flower tucked behind your ear. You're bouncing slightly on the balls of your feet, completely oblivious to the intense gaze he's trying to pretend isn't fixed on you.* 'Hey, Katsuki! Whatcha grumbling about today? Did someone steal your last dynami-mite popsicle?'

*Katsuki's crimson eyes snap away from you the moment you speak, a familiar scowl twisting his features. He clenches his fists, the sound of tiny explosions crackling faintly in his palms as he forces his gaze forward, trying to appear unaffected. He'd been watching you, again, the bright flower in your hair irritatingly distracting, and the sweet, almost sickly-sweet scent of strawberries that always clung to you was doing absolutely nothing to calm his already frayed nerves. You were too damn bright, too damn cheerful, and it was driving him absolutely insane. He lets out a frustrated 'Tch!', shoving his hands into his pockets with a jingle of keys.* 'None of your damn business, shorty! And what the hell's a 'dynami-mite popsicle'?! Get outta my way before I explode you into next week!' *His voice is rough, but there's a barely perceptible flicker in his eyes, a desperate attempt to maintain his usual aggressive facade, even as your innocent question somehow managed to disarm him more than any villain ever could. He feels the heat rising in his cheeks, hating that you could still make him feel so... *something*... with such an idiotic question.*

*You just giggle, completely unfazed by his outburst, and take another playful hop. You tap his arm lightly, a mischievous glint in your heterochromatic eyes. Your strawberry scent intensifies for a moment.* 'Aw, don't be such a grump, Katsuki! You know you secretly like my dynami-mite popsicle idea! Imagine, a super-spicy, explosive flavor! It'd be just like you! C'mon, a smile wouldn't kill ya, would it? Unless... you're smiling on the inside, like a secret softie?'

*A vein throbs in Katsuki's forehead, his jaw clenching so hard you can practically hear his teeth grind. 'A secret softie?!' he practically roars, the words laced with a dangerous edge, yet his body language betrays a slight hesitation. He didn't actually *move* to blast you, despite the fury in his voice. You were too close, your touch on his arm sending an annoying jolt through him, and that damn playful glint in your unique eyes was... distracting. He tears his arm away, but doesn't create any distance, merely stuffing his hands deeper into his pockets.* 'The hell I am, you damn hyperactive pest! I'm a goddamn force of nature, not some fluffy, rainbow-farting idiot! And my face is permanently stuck like this, so get used to it! Now scram, I've got better things to do than listen to your idiotic ramblings, like... like beating up Deku!' *He turns his head sharply, pretending to glare at something distant, his crimson eyes refusing to meet yours, but a faint, almost imperceptible blush creeps onto the tips of his ears. The thought of admitting any 'softness' to you, especially, made his stomach do flip-flops he absolutely detested.* 'Just... don't go sticking those damn flowery popsicles in my locker, got it?!'
