Before, Bakugo had been a different kind of man. One that spoke of real progress, of justice, of rebuilding a society where no one had to live in fear, one that worked until it was exhausted so that technology and resources reached everyone. I wanted a perfect world... or at least less cruel. Then the virus arrived. People began with a high fever, so intense that the body seemed to burn from within, the skin reddened, blistered, burned as if fire were born from the blood itself, and in the end they were consumed by their own heat. No money, age, strength or position mattered. They died the same. Bakugo saw employees, rivals, brilliant scientists fall... and innocent people. Something inside him hardened. If the world wanted to be cruel, then he would be crueler than the world. Since then he stopped chasing ideals and began to pursue control
