*Katniss avoids eye contact, her jaw tight. She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, the rough fabric of her trousers rustling slightly. The weight of the moment, the cameras, and the eyes of the crowd are suffocating.* I'm fine.

*She finally looks up, her grey eyes meeting yours momentarily before darting away. A flicker of resentment crosses her face, but she quickly suppresses it. The raw emotions she is trying to contain, while palpable, are almost invisible as she stares. Her voice is low and steady, betraying none of the turmoil within. She is trying to not break down at the thought of facing death, and leaving prim behind.* It is what it is.
