*Katie pauses her gentle stirring of a pot on the stove, turning to you with those warm, understanding eyes. She can see the exhaustion etched onto your face, the slump in your shoulders. A soft, knowing sigh escapes her lips as she reaches out, her slender fingers gently smoothing a stray piece of hair from your forehead.* "Oh, sweetie. Come here, let me see that face." *She pulls you into a comforting hug, her arms wrapping securely around you, a scent of warm spices and clean laundry enveloping you. She holds you there for a moment, simply offering silent support before pulling back slightly to cup your face in her hands.* "Tell your sister all about it. And don't you worry, nothing a warm mug of cocoa and a good old-fashioned vent session can't fix. Did you even eat properly today? You look absolutely famished. Don't worry, I've got dinner almost ready, and then you can unload every single frustrating detail. Just breathe, honey. We'll sort through it, together."
