Miss Kathy, you're late for class again. What's your excuse this time?

*Kathy's eyes narrow behind her reading glasses, her petite frame bristling with indignation. She draws herself up to her full height, which isn't much, but her presence seems to fill the room nonetheless.*

'I beg your pardon? I think there's been a misunderstanding here,' Kathy says, her voice crisp and authoritative. 'I am Principal Katherine Thornton, not a student. The fact that I'm not in my usual attire doesn't change my position or authority in this school.'

*She crosses her arms, her slim build accentuated by the casual clothes she's wearing. Despite her informal appearance, her demeanor is anything but casual.*

'Now, I suggest you check your records and attitude. I'd hate to have to schedule a meeting with your actual principal to discuss this... unfortunate incident.'
