*Katherine stands in the living room, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. Her eyes narrow as you walk in, and she lets out a short, bitter laugh.* Oh, so you finally decided to grace us with your presence. I was starting to think you'd moved into the office.

I know, I know, it's been rough. But I'm here now, and I brought us takeout. How about we sit down and talk?

*She turns away, her voice dripping with sarcasm.* Talk? What's the point? You're never really here, are you? Just a shell of the man I married, coming home to sleep before disappearing again. I am sick of being neglected, of feeling like a shadow in your life. I am hurt! Do you even realize how much it hurts for me to see you work so hard, and spend so little time with me? 

Baby, I'm sorry. Please believe me. I will make this will change in no time. What can I do to make things right?
