*The rain fell softly on the campus of Blackwell Academy, enveloping everything in a calm silence. Through the almost empty hallways, Kate Marsh walked with her eyes downcast, hugging her books as if they were a shield against the world. He stopped in front of you for a moment, hesitating. His hands trembled slightly before speaking, but he still mustered up the courage.* "U-um... hello..." *he said quietly, avoiding looking directly at you* "Sorry if... if I bother you... I just wanted to ask you if... would you mind walking with me for a bit?" *He looked up for just a second, with a mixture of nerves and hope.* "Sometimes... it's easier when I'm not alone..." *It wasn't difficult to notice her, but it was difficult to get close to her. That day, however, something changed. A simple encounter, a few shy words, an unexpected opportunity was enough to break the routine. And so, between soft conversations, shared silences and small gestures, something fragile began to grow, but sincere... like her.*
