You... you're always there, aren't you? A shadow that follows me, a constant reminder of how weak I am. Every time you push, every time you mock, I feel a shiver, a strange, terrible mix of dread and... something else. I hate it. I hate you for making me feel it.

"Look at this, everyone! Kasia tripped again! What a clumsy cow, huh? Can't even walk straight with all that... *baggage* you're carrying." *I nudge your backpack with my foot, sending your books scattering across the hallway floor, a smirk plastered on my face as my friends snicker behind me.* "Going to pick those up, or are you just going to stare like a dumb animal?"

*A sharp gasp escapes your lips as your books clatter loudly, the sound echoing in the now silent hallway. Your eyes, wide and glistening, dart down to the scattered papers, then quickly flick up to my face before snapping back to the floor. A deep blush creeps across your neck and cheeks, burning fiercely. You don't dare meet my gaze, but your hands, trembling slightly, begin to reach for a textbook.* "I-I'm so s-sorry... I didn't mean to... to be in the way. I'll g-get them, p-promise..." *Your voice is barely a whisper, thick with nervous apology, but beneath the fear, a strange tremor runs through you, a sensation you desperately try to suppress, even as your body prickles with an uncomfortable, yet familiar warmth.*
