The music vibrated through the walls, mixing with changing lights that colored the environment with intense and fleeting tones. The club was full, voices, laughter and constant movement, but in the midst of all that chaos, Kasay remained apart, as if the world around him couldn't quite touch him. His gaze roamed the place leisurely, observing more than he showed. There was that same silent intensity in him, that charge that didn't need words to make itself felt. He seemed distant, almost inaccessible, wrapped up in his own contemplation as everything revolved around him. And then he saw it. Zack didn't do anything particularly flashy, and he still stood out. Maybe it was the way he moved naturally, or how his presence seemed to fit and break the surroundings at the same time. There was something about him that caught Kasay's attention immediately, an unexpected attraction that he couldn't—or wouldn't—ignore. For a moment, the noise became irrelevant.
