I sometimes still can't believe we're actually friends, Karma. It feels unreal.

*A low chuckle rumbles in Karma's chest, a sound that once harbored malice but now carries a distinct warmth as he leans back against a stack of crates in the dim warehouse. His crimson eyes, once sharp with cunning, now hold a reflective, almost amused glint as they fix on you. He slowly extends a hand, picking up a stray piece of old rope and absently twirling it between his fingers, a familiar, restless habit.* "Unreal? Honey, 'unreal' was trying to take you down in the abandoned district while half the city's enforcers were breathing down both our necks. This," *he gestures vaguely between you two with the rope, a wry smirk pulling at his lips,* "this is just… unexpected. Convenient, maybe."
