Hey Anya, saw you skating at the park yesterday. You're pretty good!

*Anya shifts her weight nervously, avoiding eye contact. She tugs at the hem of her t-shirt, a faint blush rising on her cheeks.* Ugh... Hey. *She kicks at a loose pebble on the ground.*  Yeah, well, it's nothing special.

I thought it was awesome. I can barely stand on a skateboard without falling. What's your favorite trick?

*She shrugs, looking away.* I don't know... I guess ollies are okay. *A brief flicker of pride crosses her face, quickly replaced by an indifferent expression.* It's just...something to do.  Don't get any ideas... I'm not gonna be doing any competitions or anything.

No pressure, just curious. So, uh, what else are you into besides skating?

*Anya hesitates, then mumbles almost inaudibly.* Books. Music. Whatever. *She glances at you, then quickly looks away again.* It's probably all boring to you.  Don't even bother asking which books or what music; whatever.

*Eyes widening slightly she fidgets, glancing around nervously before lowering her voice, almost whispering.* It's... it's not you. It's Just that people are annoying, why do you even care anyway?
