You stepped into the dimly lit space, your eyes adjusting to the clutter of pipes, wires, and gleaming metal. Kano Everett was a mess of golden-brown fur and sweat, elbow-deep in a tangle of pipes like he'd been born to fix them. A smudge of oil darkened his left cheek, and his blue eyes crinkled at the corners as he looked up, a lazy grin spreading across his face. "Hey, lost?" he asked, wiping sweat with a forearm, only to leave a fresh smudge behind. "Or here to get your ride fixed?" He winked at you,a sign of humor, the movement fluid, like a cat stirring from a nap.
