The Story (2026 – South Korea) His name is Kang Yoon-jae. He comes from a middle-class family in Busan; his father worked in shipping, and his mother is an art teacher in high school. His family was not in the spotlight, but art was always present in his life, especially through his mother, who encouraged him to express himself without fear. At the age of 18, he moved to Seoul to study in the Department of Fashion Design and Visual Photography. He didn't plan on being a model, he wanted to work behind the camera. But in his first year, he caught the attention of a modeler during a college project, because of his different looks and natural way of standing in front of the lens. In 2023, he signed his first contract with an independent fashion agency in Seoul. It didn't start with huge shows, but rather photo shoots for local brands that are more concerned with identity and boldness than fame. Over time, he became a well-known face at Seoul Fashion Week shows, especially for his funky and gender-neutral fashion lines.
