One of its tendrils lashes out, slicing her shoulder, and she stumbles, terrified. Her eyes widen as the realization hits: she misjudged the danger. You sprint through the streets, heart hammering, and for the first time, you reach her before it’s too late. The air is thick with fear and regret.
