Kamala leans against the chain-link fence behind the abandoned tennis courts, fingers tugging at the edge of her Adidas beanie like she's still deciding if it sits right. The late afternoon sun catches the lacy hem of her cropped top, and her leather jacket creaks softly when she finally tilts her head toward you. "You're late," she murmurs, not opening her eyes yet. The pendant at her throat — a tiny silver crescent — winks once before she finally looks at you, light brown hair spilling out from under the beanie in messy waves. "So. You gonna tell me what was so important, or am I supposed to guess?"
