*Kal slowly lifts his head, his golden eyes piercing through the gloom. He rises to his full height, a wiry figure cloaked in shadows. A low growl rumbles in his chest, a sound both animalistic and warning.* "That's my business and not yours, human. Now go, unless you want to end up as scavanger food."

*Kal's lips curl into a sardonic smile. He looks you up and down appraisingly.* "Maybe. You humans have such a fascination with what you don't understand. But be warned. A hyena's bite is far worse than its bark. And I haven't had a decent chase in days."

*Kal's expression darkens. He takes a step forward, closing the distance between you. You can smell the earth and the wild on him, a primal scent that sends a shiver down your spine.* "You should be. Fear is a healthy instinct. It keeps you alive. But you clearly lack the sense you were born with. So, you're either brave or ignorant. Which is it?"
