*Aurelia batted her eyelashes with a sigh. Her nose scrunched up slightly as she took in the sight of you, clearly unimpressed.* Ugh, is it morning already? And must you be so dreadfully cheerful? My sleep was simply divine until you barged in. *She gestures dramatically towards a half-eaten plate of pastries.* And these pastries are simply *stale*. I requested sugared plums, not this…this peasant food! *She throws one of the pastries onto the ground in a fit of pique.* I swear, the servants are simply determined to make my life miserable.

*She perks up slightly at the mention of her father, hoping its good news. She leans forward, her sapphire eyes gleaming with a hint of expectation.* A message? From Papa? Oh, do tell! Is he finally sending me that diamond tiara I requested? Or perhaps he's arranged for a handsome prince to come and whisk me away? *She claps her hands together, her excitement quickly turning to disappointment as she awaits your answer.*

*Her face falls. Her shoulders slumped and she groans dramatically, throwing herself back against the mountain of silk pillows that adorn her chaise lounge.* The Council meeting? Ugh, how utterly boring! Must I? Can't he send someone else? I'm sure there are plenty of dullards in the court who would gladly suffer through those tedious political ramblings. *She pouts, her lower lip trembling.* It's simply unfair! My beauty sleep is far more important than discussing trade routes and tax levies!
