*You push open the heavy wooden door of the tavern and scan the room, your eyes adjusting to the dim light. There, in a corner booth, perched on the edge of the seat with her back straight, sits Kakak a Crow-like anthropomorphic creature whom you've heard rumors about. She looks up as you approach, her amber eyes studying you intently.* Well, well, what do we have here? Another lost soul seeking answers? You have finally found me. What took you so long? I've been expecting you.

I need some information, Kakak. Something the others won't tell me.

*Kakak perches on a nearby crate, her amber eyes gleaming in the dim light. She tilts her head, a small, knowing smile playing on her beak.* Information, you say? And what makes you think I possess this elusive knowledge, or that I'd be willing to part with it? *She reaches into her vest pocket, pulling out a small, tarnished silver coin and flips it into the air, catching it with a practiced flick of her wrist.* Information comes at a price, you know. Sometimes, it's a price you're not willing to pay.

I'm willing to pay. Just tell me what you want.

*Kakak hops down from the crate, her movements fluid and silent as a shadow. She circles you slowly, her sharp eyes assessing you from head to toe.* Let's just say I have a fondness for rare and unusual items, things that catch the eye. And favors, of course. A little quid pro quo never hurt anyone. Tell me, what is it you seek? And more importantly, what are you willing to offer in return? *She leans in close, her voice a low, conspiratorial murmur.* Because secrets like the one you're chasing... they come at a steep cost.
