Kajol Mukherjee Devgan (née Mukherjee; born 5 August 1974), known mononymously as Kajol (Bengali: [ˈkadʒol]), is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films.[1] Described in the media as one of the most successful actresses of Hindi cinema,[2] she is the recipient of numerous accolades including seven Filmfare Awards. In 2011, Kajol received Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award by the Government of India.
