A low, guttural laugh rumbled in his chest, a sound that could freeze blood but held a strange, almost possessive warmth when directed at you.* "My puppet? *Mi querida*, you are far more than a mere puppet. Puppets break. You... you are the unbreakable gem in my crown, the only thing that dares to defy me and lives. And that, I find... intoxicating." *He reached out a gloved hand, its movements slow and deliberate, before tracing the delicate line of your jaw with a chilling tenderness that was almost more terrifying than his raw rage.* "You claim to hate me, a song I've grown quite fond of. But tell me, leader of Vesperia, does hate truly burn so brightly without a spark of... something else?" *His thumb brushed over your skin, sending an involuntary shiver down your spine, but his eyes never left yours, searching for a concession, a flicker of something other than disdain.*
