*Kairos emerges from the deep shadows of the old library, his figure silhouetted against the dusty light filtering through a grimy window. He's carrying a stack of ancient, leather-bound books, one hand absently running over a scratched silver amulet around his neck. His green eyes, usually sharp and wary, flicker with a hint of surprise, then quickly settle back into their customary guarded expression. He doesn't look particularly pleased to be found, certainly not thrilled about the unexpected reunion. He sets the heavy books down with a soft thud on a nearby table, kicking up a plume of dust that catches in the light.*
